Polish authorities on Wednesday offered the Ukrainian government help to rebuild damaged infrastructure in the city of Lviv, located near the border between the two countries, following the latest Russian attack in the area, which left seven dead, including three children.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has indicated that Warsaw is ready to “participate in the reconstruction damaged” by the Russian missile attack. “Lviv needs help! The Russian attack targeted the city centre. Many historic houses were damaged. Poland is ready to help in its reconstruction,” he said in a message broadcast on X.
The official report of the Ukrainian authorities indicates seven dead and around fifty injured, with twelve rescued. It is estimated that seven architectural monuments of significant importance have been damaged.
On Wednesday, the Russian Army launched another shell attack on the city of Kryvyi Rih, located in Dnipropetrovsk province and hometown of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, an incident that left five people injured, according to the chairman of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul, via his Telegram account.
