The Polish Defense Minister, Mariusz Blaszczak, announced on Tuesday the start of military exercises to deploy the US Patriot anti-aircraft missile system, a series of exercises, he said, “to deter the aggressor”, as the day approaches. first anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Blaszczak explained that in normal situations this type of military exercise is not usually disclosed, however, in the context of the current war, Defense has “consciously” decided to publicize it in order to persuade the “aggressor” to any type of action.

“We are showing the combat readiness of the Polish Army,” he said from Warsaw’s Bemowo airport. “As a general rule, we accept not to report on the movement of troops; we all know that there is a war beyond our eastern border,” he justified, according to the PAP agency.

In order for the Army to continue with this type of maneuver, Blaszczak has reported that a group of soldiers will travel to the United States this week to continue with the necessary training and then share said “experience” with the rest of the commanders of the Armed Forces.
