Pokémon wants children to celebrate Halloween with cards instead of candy

Several companies have a habit of celebrating with themed content for fans of the games, as well as general merchandise. The Pokémon Company is one of them and it is precisely one of the first to announce plans to celebrate this year’s celebration, which involve the launch of a new Pokémon TCG product that children will undoubtedly want more than candy.

The Pokémon Company always releases Halloween-themed content for its games whenever it’s close to October. However, this year will be very special because for the first time it will distribute a product of its Halloween-themed Pokémon TCG card game.

The company responsible for the IP revealed that it will put on sale the Pokémon Trading Card Game: Trick or Trade BOOster Bundle, which will be a package that will include 40 envelopes with 3 cards each, which means that each package will include 120 cards in total .

The Pokémon Company will celebrate Halloween in a big way

This special package is designed for parents to buy and that on October 31 they give their children the envelopes instead of candy when they ask for Halloween and we have no doubt that for many they will be the coolest gifts that will be in their baskets.

According to the details, this pack can be found in large stores and distribution chains and the cards will include illustrations of Zubat, Gengar, Pumpkaboo, Mimikyu, Polteageist and other Ghost-type Pokémon, as well as a Pikachu-shaped pumpkin sticker.

This is not the only initiative the franchise plans to celebrate Halloween. The Pokémon Company anticipated that there will be several projects related to Halloween, including home accessories, plush toys and more products from the Pokémon Center.
