Pokémon GO: rare species debut and are exclusive to a new type of Incense

Pokémon GO It has just turned 6 years since its debut and continues to offer surprises to players. Niantic just released a new item that gives you an exclusive chance to catch new and very rare creatures.

Incense is something that has caused a lot of talk in the gaming community in recent months, although unfortunately for the worse. However, today is very different, as the developer Niantic announced a new type of Incense that will offer irresistible bonuses.

The item in question is officially called Daily Quest Incense, and as the name suggests, it’s a new version of Incense that invites players to explore on a daily basis. This item will be distributed for free every day and players will be able to enjoy its effects for 15 minutes.

Daily Adventure Incense attracts very rare Pokemon in Pokémon GO

The effectiveness time is 25% compared to normal Incenses; however, what makes this new variant special is that it will attract rare or “not often seen in the wild” Pokémon, with the proviso that the player must be moving for it to attract Pokémon (if kept in a same place will not attract anything, unlike normal Incense, which attracts 1 Pokémon every 5 minutes in static mode).

The details about this rarity are ambiguous, as some players have reported their results and the selection of Pokémon found is not very spectacular. However, some players have mentioned meeting the three legendary birds of Galar.

How to catch Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres de Galar in Pokémon GO?

That’s right we are talking about Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres de Galar. These 3 species are apparently making their debut in Pokémon GO and they did not do it in 5-star Raids, but so far the only way to find them is precisely through the Daily Adventure Incense.

Of course, the probability of appearance of these 3 Pokémon is very low and catching them is much more difficult. According to information from Serebii, the catch chance is 0.3% (legendary catch rate is 3%) and the chance of them fleeing on miss catch is 90%, so don’t get discouraged if they get away, it’s something common. However, there are already players who managed to catch these erratic species.

How to enable and get more Daily Adventure Incense in Pokémon GO?

It is important that you take into account that the Daily Adventure Incense can only be activated once a day and it is possible to have only 1 in the Bag, so you must spend them daily if you do not want to miss them. You should also know that it is not possible to activate it if a normal Incense is enabled or vice versa. To use the first one, you must first complete the Special Research related to this new item, which is now available in the quest section of the game.

Something very interesting is that if you do not have more than 30 Poké Balls, Great Balls or Ultr Balls, when you enable the Daily Adventure Incense you will receive 30 Poké Balls that will help you catch the creatures that this Incense attracts.
