It’s been some time since EVGA decided to leave aside graphics cards, a company that had the collaboration with overclocker Kingpin. But with the disappearance of EVGA in the graphics card market, Kignpin has looked for another manufacturer with whom to collaborate. According to Gamer Nexus, the overclocker had a PNY card on a test bench during the last COMPUTEX, a sign that PNY will be the next manufacturer in receiving the kingpin models ideal for extreme overclocking.
Kingpin had already been in conversation with other graphics manufacturers, such as MSI, ASUS or GALAX, but I was looking for an approach similar to that of EVGA, where the high-end can offer all the performance in the most extreme conditions. According to Vince “Kingpin” with PNY will be able to offer cards in the missing range left by EVGA, where others do not seem interested in occupying it. Kingpin has been testing the PNY software to get all the detailshow the fans work, etc., and it seemed very good.
These new PNY Kingpin models are expected to start coming out with the NVIDIA RTX 50a series that will be released by the end of this year in its high-end references, and where maybe PNY will surprise us with a personalized model in collaboration with this overclocker.
