Sony has shared the launch framework for the second generation of its Virtual Reality (VR) headset, PlayStation VR 2which will finally take place in early 2023.
The Japanese company unveiled the design of this new viewfinder at the end of last February. Since then, it has advanced new details, such as the possibility of creating personalized game areas without removing the helmet and that more than 20 own and third-party games will accompany its launch.
Now, the official PlayStation account at Twitter has also announced the launch window for PlayStation VR 2: early 2023.

The Japanese group has not offered more details about the second generation of its VR viewer. Sony already advanced some technical specifications at the beginning of the year, such as the use of a panel OLED with a resolution of 2,000 x 2,040 per eye and refresh rates of 90 and 120Hz.
Sony also promised that PlayStation VR 2 will allow, as a whole, to experience images in 4K HDR with a field of view of 110 degrees. All this, encapsulated in a design that features more roundness than its predecessor in search of a greater sense of immersion.
