Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has reached an agreement with ProbablyMonsters to incorporate Firewalk Studios, formed by veterans of franchises like Destiny, to playstation studioswhere he will continue to work on AAA games.
Firewalk joins Bungie and Haven Interactive Studios to define the next generation of experiences for PlayStation gamers, being the 20th studio to join PlayStation Studios.
The studio is based in Bellevue (Washington, USA), and was founded in 2018 by the current president of Bungie, harold ryan, as part of ProbablyMonsters, an independent AAA game developer studio. they lead it tony hsuformerly Head of Destiny and Senior Vice President at Activision, and Ryan Ellis, formerly Chief Creative Officer at Bungie.
From Sony they emphasize that Firewalk is composed of high-end developers with experience in blockbuster multiplayer video games. He is currently developing a new and original multiplayer AAA video game for PlayStation 5 (PS5) and PC.
