Youtube has launched its game catalog ‘Playables’ for free for all users globally, who can choose between more than 75 titles to play directly from the platform, including “light and entertaining” video games.

‘Playable’ o Playable is a section dedicated to video games that YouTube began testing in September 2023, which includes a set of titles that can be played in the cloud, either from a computer or from a smartphone. Later, in November of last year, the streaming content platform enabled this section as a experimental feature in beta version. However, it was limited within its Premium subscription service in some countries.

Now, YouTube has announced that the ‘Playables’ service is now available to all users globallywho will be able to choose video games from a catalog of more than 75 titles to play directly from the YouTube application.

This is what the company has shared through a post on your blogin which he pointed out that this collection of games has been has started launching for free, including “light and entertaining” titles, as is the case of Angry Birds ShowdownWords of Wonders, Cut the Rope, Tomb of the Mask and Crak Triviaamong others.

Additionally, through ‘Playables’ users will be able to view and control your game history, as well as save the progress of your titles and keep track of your best scores in each video game.

In this sense, YouTube has clarified that ‘Playables’ will be implemented for all users in the coming months and can be used both in the web version of the platform as well as the application for iOS and Android devices.
