After just over 10 years at the head of Xbox, Spencer could leave his position, according to reports. The user @GarrettEAtkins recently explained that Sarah Bond has been in talks to take over the Xbox in the next 12 to 24 months, whichever the transition lasts.
Of course, he makes it clear that he has no information about Spencer announcing or stepping down during this time. The user affirms that his source is reliable and the step of command is given in a context that is really highly commented on social networks.
We are at a stage where companies seek to give greater diversity and representation to minorities. In addition, in the event of the purchase of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft, important decisions must be made regarding cases of harassment and discrimination against women in said company.
Garrett says the decision isn’t due to poor performance or some controversial action by Spencer, but could be part of an Xbox strategy.
