This week, the government of President Gustavo Petro had a ministerial crisis that led to the departure of the cabinet of José Antonio Ocampo, Cecilia López, Alfonso Prada, Carolina Corcho, Sandra Urrutia, Arturo Luis Luna Tapia and Guillermo Reyes.

His retirement came after the president requested the formal resignation of the cabinet and accepted the departure of the aforementioned ministers. However, there were other figures that remain and that since the beginning of his government have been a trusted character of Petro.
The list is made up of the Minister of Work Gloria Inés Ramírez, who, in addition, has been the president in charge during President Petro’s trips abroad.

Among the 12 ministers who will continue is also German Umanahead of the Commerce, Industry and Tourism portfolio and considered a key and credible figure among economists.
Foreign Minister Álvaro Leyva; Nestor Osuna, Minister of Justice; Iván Velásquez, Defense Minister; Susana Muhamad, Minister of the Environment and Catalina Velasco, Minister of Housing, will continue in their posts, after the ministerial revolt.
