While demonstrations are still expected to emerge in different cities, this morning was able to confirm that there are some public transport buses circulating on the streets of Lima, the country’s capital.
The president of Peru, Dina Boluarte, expressed this Wednesday her support for the cause of this mobilization and assured that the criminals who threaten security will soon be caught. The president also called not to divide.
“We sympathize with your concern for a safer Peru and we tell you that we will not cease in the task of combating crime with intelligence actions and operations of our brave National Police.
