One of these cases is in turn one of the most recent, because with the arrival of Episode 6 Act 2 of this title, VALORANT launched a new installment of skins with the Oni theme, based on the demons and ancient creatures of Japanese culture.

However, the one that got the most attention was the one presented for the melee weapon, which resembles a katana with traditional ornamentation.

This skin, known in-game as “Kunitsuna Onimaru” received a great deal of criticism for various reasons. The main one was its high cost since it was released with a price of 5,350 VALORANT Points or US$56, which places it as the third most expensive skin in the entire game, only surpassed by those released during the VCT events.

Although the design of this weapon can justify its price, its presentation and its animations came with many serious errors, which according to the most veteran players, can affect the gameplay by revealing their position when they are drawn. to combat.

Also, other players say that this can be very situational, since it is difficult for a scenario where this really affects. Although it is not ruled out that players with a keener eye can take advantage of this to locate an opponent and finish him off, even before he is ready to attack.
