Patrick Mahomes is coming to Fortnite; so you can get his skin for free

Fortnite has had skins of popular streamers and music stars thanks to its Idol Series, which will soon welcome one of the athletes of the moment: Patrick Mahomes. Epic Games presented this morning the NFL player’s outfit and his accessory pack that will make him look great in Battle Royale battles.

The good news is that some lucky players will have the opportunity to get their skin for free, as the studio also announced the Patrick Mahomes Cup. This is a Zero Build mode competition that will reward the winners with the outfit and a special backpack.

Patrick Mahomes will join the Battle Royale on August 24, at 7:00 PM, Mexico City time. He will be coming straight to the in-game store with a skin that features 2 alternate styles that make him look much more appealing: Gladiator Mentality and Field Titan.

Players will also be able to add the Champion’s Shield backpack, Salson Axes pickaxe, Adept Scorer role, and Time to Shine emote to their collection. The content does not end there, as the player will have a special skin called Mahomes in his sauce, which includes the emergency Ketchup backpack.

How to get the Patrick Mahomes skin for free?

To add the athlete’s outfit to your collection without spending V-Bucks you will have to participate in the Patrick Mahomes Cup, which will be on August 23. It will be played on Zero Build with a points system and the best players in each region will be rewarded with the basic outfit and Champion’s Shield backpack.

Participants who score at least 8 points during the competition will receive the Secret Sauce emote. It will be possible to play up to 10 matches for 3 hours from the Compete tab of the game. As always, you need to have 2-step verification enabled and have an account level 50 or higher.
