Party World of Warships: All Pan Am Cruisers Joining the Game

Wargaming, developer of World of Warships, announces the new and complete branch of Pan American light cruisers. Available for PC on March 30, the new update includes 10 ships for all players to explore, making this update the largest inclusion of ships from Latin American countries ever in the franchise.

Based on historical ships and original designs, the models of the branch have main battery guns with a medium firing range and good ballistics -an attribute that affects the shape of the dispersion ellipse of the shots-, which makes them effective for combat at any distance.

Its weaponry features a good rate of fire and medium-powered torpedoes, while consumables include the Repair Party and the choice between Hydroacoustic Search or Defensive AA Shot. Finally, the good stealth capabilities of these ships allow players to adopt hybrid combat strategies, such as positioning the ship quickly to make the first strike or safely withdrawing if necessary.

Among the countries represented in the debutant branch of Pan American light cruisers of World of Warships, Argentina stands out, with three vessels, followed by Colombia and Mexico, with two each. The other three ships are from Brazil, Chile and Peru.

Original World of Warships ships

The other ships that complete the Pan Am light cruiser branch of the game are also inspired by historical events. Such is the case of the Mexican level III ship Vicente Guerreroa version of the Navarra cruiser that served the Spanish Navy from 1923 to 1956. Since Mexico imported ships of this type from Spain in the 1930s, it is likely that this could have been one of the models.
