Oct. 1 (Portaltic/EP) –
Fortnite This Tuesday, it incorporated two new parental controls that allow you to review and limit the time that minors spend in the popular Epic Games video game.
Parents will be able from this Tuesday manage temporary controls in Fortnite and Unreal Editor for Fornite, a new tool that allows them to limit the duration of the game per day, detail a time slot and even enable whether minors can request additional time.
If these time controls are activated, minors will receive a notification when play time is about to end. If this ends, or if the time slot has passed, it will no longer be possible to access Fortnite until the next allowed play period.
These controls can be activated from the Epic account portal, and are valid for different devices, as long as the minor uses the same game account, as Epic Games explains in its official blog.
The other novelty offers parents weekly reportsin which it is possible to see the time that the minor has spent in Fornite or Unreal Editor for Fornite each day, and which shows whether they have been allowed to extend the established time limit.
