Paradox cancels Life by You, the life simulator that was intended to compete with The Sims

Paradox Interactive has canceled the launch of Life by Youa life simulator similar to The Sims saga created precisely by the person responsible for this title and CEO of Linden Labs, Rod Humble.

It was announced in March 2023, with the intention that it would be available in September of that same year through Steam for computers. However, and despite sharing several advances about its development and the different elements of the game, its launch was postponed on several occasions.

Finally, the Swedish studio Paradox has announced that cancels the launch of the video game. “For a long time we have had hope in Life by You and the potential we saw in it, but now it is clear that the game “will not be able to meet our expectations,” CEO Fredrik Wester said in a statement shared on the official blog.

Wester explains that “a version that the development team was happy with was “too far away.” Thus, will focus on new projectswhich they will address “in a different way”, with changes in project management and organization.
