A bombing on a residential area leaves at least 73 dead in this northern Gaza city

The Palestinian Authority has denounced the Israeli attack last Saturday night in the Gazan city of Beit Lahiya, in the north of the enclave, which has left 73 dead according to the authorities of the Islamist movement Hamas.
“We hold the Israeli government and the international community fully and directly responsible for this ongoing massacre,” the Palestinian Authority has made known about a bombing whose death toll has been disputed by the Israeli authorities.
“Once again we call for an international awakening to impose an immediate ceasefire,” adds the Palestinian Foreign Ministry in its statement.
“The international failure to stop the war of genocide and displacement against our people has become a cover used by the Israeli occupation government to carry out further crimes and extermination of our people, as is evident in the northern Gaza Strip. Gaza,” adds the Palestinian Authority in the note.
