The wait is over. After almost 3 years since its announcement, Overwatch 2 is already available (although its launch is going through difficult times). If you are one of the lucky people who was able to connect to the servers, you may already be looking for skins to customize your favorite heroes. Luckily, there is a way to get cosmetic rewards without having to spend real money.

Although it is possible to obtain customization items for free through the Battle Pass, the truth is that most of the aspects, sprays, icons and other aesthetic objects are unlocked in the paid version of the aforementioned Battle Pass or through the store premium. At the end of the day, we must remember that we are dealing with a free-to-play experience.

Fortunately, Blizzard will offer other avenues to earn free rewards. One of them will be through Twitch, as fans will get a legendary skin for the new heroine Kiriko and a handful of other items simply by watching live broadcasts of Overwatch 2. Sounds simple, right?

How to link my Overwatch 2 account with Twitch?

If you want to get these juicy rewards, you better pay attention. The first thing you need to do is link your Battle.net account – which is required to play the free-to-play title – with your Twitch profile.

To do this, simply go to Battle.net and log in. Next, visit your profile settings and click on the “Connections” window. There, click on the Twitch section and follow the corresponding instructions. If you did it right, both accounts will be linked and you will be able to get your cosmetic items.

Now, what do you have to do to get the free rewards? Don’t worry, it’s very simple.

All you have to do is log in to the streaming platform and watch any content creator currently playing Overwatch 2. Unlike other Twitch Drops, there are now no select streamers, so you will be able to see your favorite personality.

To get the first reward, namely Kiriko’s legendary Sukajan skin, you’ll need to watch 6 hours of Blizzard’s video game live streams between October 7 and 16. To get the Razor Sharp Kiriko graffiti and the donut charm you will have to do the same for 3 and 2 hours, respectively, between October 17 and 24.
You will receive a notification once you unlock these rewards and can immediately redeem them from your Twitch Drops inventory.
