It was speculated at the beginning that it was a saturation of the servers due to the large number of gamers who wanted to enter; However, those responsible for the title revealed that it is a DDoS attack.

Mike Ybarra wrote the following on his social media: “The teams are working hard on the Overwatch 2 server issues. We are humbled by the excitement of the players and will continue to focus on the issues and get players in on the fun. . Thank you for your patience”.

Minutes later, the attack on the video game servers was confirmed. “Unfortunately, we are experiencing a massive DDoS attack on our servers. Teams are working hard to mitigate/manage the case. This is causing a lot of disconnection problems,” Ybarra wrote on his social networks.

For now, if you want to enter on PC, a long queue will appear to be able to enter the game. On some occasions, the queue goes to “0”, but there is no response from the video game, it just keeps loading.
