The President of Ukraine, Volodimir Zelenskythanked the United Kingdom on Wednesday for its “helping hand” since the start of the Russian invasion of his country on February 24, 2022, in a speech before the British Parliament.
Zelensky personally thanked the former conservative prime minister for his support Boris Johnson, who was present at his appearance in Westminster Hall along with hundreds of deputies, lords and journalists. “Our victory will change the world,” he declared.
The Ukrainian leader has declared British lawmakers that would do everything possible to persuade the world to provide Ukraine with modern aircraftto help his forces defeat Russia.
“We will do everything possible and impossible for the world to provide us with modern aircraft to train and protect the pilots who will protect us,” he added.
