Like the other Orcs Must Die! games, Deathtrap is a third-person game that puts players in the shoes of a mage who, using weapons, skills, and traps, must do everything possible to overcome hordes of orcs. Each mage has their own personality and offers a different play style. Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap features both a solo mode and co-op mode for up to four players, a first considering that multiplayer was previously limited to two participants. Deathtrap maintains the aesthetics of the previous installments, as well as exaggerated physics typical of a system ragdoll.
