Oct. 29 (Portaltic/EP) –
Opera has updated its Android browser with new features designed to improve user interaction and announced that its native Artificial Intelligence (AI), Aria, can now understand images and can be used without signing in.
Aria is a generative AI service integrated into browser functions and based on the Composer infrastructure, which is self-developed. It is used to search for information and generate texts and code. More recently, it has acquired capabilities such as generating images or reading answers out loud.
Thanks to a new update to Opera for Android, Aria now has the ability to understand images, allowing users to get contextual information about the images they upload or photograph directly.
On the other hand, Opera has noted that the feature that allows it to generate images has been updated to the model Google Image 3so users now have the ability to create up to five images for free and without the need to register.
Opera believes that by not requiring a browser login, this feature becomes “even more accessible” to anyone who wants to experiment with creating images from artificial intelligence.
He also recalled that, along with image generation, Aria incorporates functions focused on enriching the browsing experience with voice search, web page summary and ‘Ask Aria’ option, with which you can highlight any text and ask the AI to analyze and explain it.
The Norwegian company has also announced new features for the Android version of its browser, which now allows you to share pages using QR codes or import passwords from Google Chrome, a feature “that simplifies the migration process to Opera,” according to the firm.
Opera users will also be able to store passwords and use them for autocomplete in other Android applications, as well as customize the screen with new backgrounds based on the Opera One style, a version of its desktop browser.
The version 85 Opera for devices with Android operating system is now available for download through the official Google Play application store.
