Oct. 23 (Portaltic/EP) –
Opera has introduced Opera One R2, the new version of its browser powered by artificial intelligence (AI), which introduces a modular design and new tools that improve both customization and navigation efficiency.
Opera One R2 is the Norwegian company’s “first step” towards the browser of the future, in which they have incorporated “the most advanced AI functions so far”, as indicated by the Product Director at Opera and responsible for Opera One R2, Joanna Czajka, in a press release.
This browser includes the capabilities of Opera’s AI, Aria, which is available without the need to log in. Users can take advantage of a command interface that allows this wizard to be used outside of the chat box, to summarize content, analyze articles or analyze products online.
Aria can also describe in detail what appears in an image and even generate a realistic image, in both cases from an image uploaded by the user.
In customization, Opera One R2 includes new visual themes, featuring live animations, static backgrounds, custom colors, and sound effects.
It also allows you to use ‘Split Screen’, to work on two open tabs simultaneously, while the ‘Tab Track’ function offers visual clues of the last five tabs visited.
The browser also presents a modular redesign with new music and video players, the latter also being compatible with video calls. And it integrates an ad blocker.
