In Colombia, there is a Digital Government Policy that proposes public technological transformation and seeks to strengthen the relationship between citizens and the State.
“Improving the provision of services by public entities, and generating confidence in the institutions that make up the public administration and the State in general, through the use and exploitation of ICTs, both citizens and the government can strengthen their bond to build trust with each other says Bejarano.
For this reason, it is a priority to strengthen communication channels, as well as optimizing the response times of public entities and improving the experience of users who require any type of procedure.
In this sense, the work of digital government is strengthened through pillars such as governance and innovative public policy that ultimately guarantee that society and the public sector acquire more and better digital tools and skills.
