At least one person has died this Tuesday in a new attack carried out by the Russian Army against a town located in the Ukrainian province of Kherson, partially occupied as part of the invasion unleashed in February 2022, according to the Ukrainian authorities. .

The Kherson Prosecutor’s Office has indicated in a statement published on its Telegram account that the fatal victim of the attack, perpetrated against the town of Odradomakianka, is a 74-year-old woman whose identity has not been revealed.

Thus, he stated that the Russian Army used a drone to carry out the attack and stressed that the authorities “adopt all possible measures to document war crimes committed by representatives of the Russian Armed Forces.”

Kherson, along with Donetsk, Lugansk and Zaporizhia – all of them partially occupied within the framework of the invasion – were annexed in October 2022 by Russia, a measure not recognized by the international community that was added to the annexation in 2014 of the Crimean peninsula by Moscow.
