At least one person has died and eight others have been injured this Friday due to a drone attack carried out by Russian forces against the port city of Odessa, located in southern Ukraine, according to authorities.
The governor of Odessa, Oleg Kiper, has indicated in his Telegram account that the deceased is a 46-year-old man who was driving his vehicle and that he was hit by shrapnel or debris from the device. “Sincere condolences to his family and friends,” he said.
He also added that eight other people have been injured in the city, including six who had to be hospitalized, without further details. “Operations to address the consequences of the enemy attack continue in place,” he stressed.
