The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has warned this Friday that the fighting between the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and the Sudanese Army left more than 75,000 internally displaced from April 15 to 22 alone.

“Refugees from other countries who were already living in Sudan when the conflict broke out have also been displaced by the fighting. Around 33,000 refugees are reported to have fled Khartoum for refugee camps in White Nile state, 2,000 to Gedaref fields and 5,000 to Kassala since the crisis began two weeks ago,” he said in a statement.
