This has ended today, because with the release of OBS Studio 29, OBS users we can finally encode AV1 video with our equipment, something that will leave us ready for online video streaming services to allow us to broadcast with these settings. In any case, we will be able to encode AV1 video for local storage, with the advantages it brings.
Additionally, other changes included in OBS Studio 29 are support for Desk View on macOS, support for HEVC on Intel graphics, new filters and a three-band equalizerThese are all welcome improvements to this software that has mainly been updated to keep in line with the latest generation of hardware available.
