NVIDIA would be considering abandoning the manufacture of GPUs in the MX range

It seems that NVIDIA would be considering to stop manufacturing MX series GPUs, a series of GPUs designed for laptops that, in some casesthey are left with a performance quite similar to what we would find in a high-performance integrated solutionso these are generally not alternatives that can greatly change the user experience.

However, its implementation in laptops keeps increasing its price for a questionable performance increase, since the GPU itself is still required, as well as all related accessories, such as additional circuitry and power supply, something that consumes resources, money and part of the autonomy of the team.

That is why, as we read in videocardzNVIDIA may stop making these GPUs, especially considering that the AMD Radeon 780M, the integrated GPU in the most powerful AMD Ryzen 7000 Series for laptops, it could be more powerful than the NVIDIA GeForce MX570, the most powerful model of these GPUs.

Additionally, NVIDIA will soon launch the RTX 4050, a GPU with a TDP that can reach a minimum of 35Wso the space that the NVIDIA GeForce MX can occupy is getting smaller and smaller.
