Finally, NVIDIA has been pronounced regarding new versions of the RTX 3060 and 3060 Ti graphics that we have seen these days from other manufacturers. With the introduction of the new 526.47 WHQL drivers, NVIDIA also offers support for these new models and indicates that they will be available from november. They also let us know that these new models will coexist with the originalsand so we will have a couple more options when choosing a graphics card for gaming.
The new NVIDIA RTX 3060 model has cut its VRAM memory from 12 GB to 8 GBalthough this is not the only change, since the memory bus has also been lowered from the 192 bits of the model with 12 GB up to 128 bits of the model with 8 GB.
The NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti with GDDR6x memory has swapped the VRAM for this faster type while keeping the same amount of memory. But this includes higher bandwidthspecifically it has gone from 448 GB / s up to 608.3GB/swhich translates into higher performance for games.
Despite these two developments, NVIDIA you have not mentioned the change of GPU that we have seen in the NVIDIA RTX 3070 Ti to the GA102 GPU, instead of using the GA103.
