The North Korean Vice Minister of Defense, Kim Kang In, has criticized in a statement the arrival of the ‘USS Theodore Roosevelt’ to the port of the South Korean city of Busan. Thus, he has regretted that Washington and Seoul continue to “play a very dangerous game” in an attempt to “show their military strength,” according to the North Korean news agency KCNA.

This same Monday, the UN International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has warned of the danger posed by the interception of South Korea’s GPS signals by North Korea.

The decision to condemn these actions within the organization took place after a meeting of its representatives in Canada, where they urged Pyongyang to stop carrying out this type of “illegal acts”, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. South Korean in a statement, which points to an increase in this type of actions.

Thus, it has denounced that North Korea has carried out a series of “attacks” with the aim of hindering and interrupting geolocation signals on several occasions between the end of May and the beginning of June, in addition to sending thousands of balloons with debris in its interior on the other side of its border in the south.

The South Korean Army uses detection systems for devices that generate interference and shares this information with the military in real time to guarantee an adequate response at all times, according to the country’s authorities.

The two Koreas are still technically at war since the war that took place between 1950 and 1953 ended with the signing of an armistice agreement and not a peace treaty.
