It was in July 2022 when Nintendo announced a subscription service focused on the repair of its consoles. Now, the company has just confirmed that it is about to finish it completely.
As you probably remember, this service is called Wide Care and it offers a monthly or annual contract so that gamers are protected from almost any problem with their Nintendo Switch.
However, it seems that the company did not have good results with said service and it has just been confirmed that it will terminate it on August 31, 2023, although people who currently have their contract will be able to take advantage of it until it ends.
It is worth mentioning that the Wide Care allows customers to claim up to 6 repairs each year on their Nintendo Switch, including issues with the Joy-Con, the base and the AC adapter, all for paying approximately $30 MXN per month or $280 MXN per month. anus.
