One of the most important video game sagas anniversaries last year was that of Kirbywho celebrated his 30th birthday on April 27, 2022. Due to this, Nintendo decided to hold a large number of events in recent months and has now just confirmed that the celebrations have come to an end.

As you surely remember, Kirby’s Dream Land for Game Boy it was the game that introduced us to the little pink ball in 1992, all this to make the character one of the most important of Nintendo.
Its popularity is so great that Nintendo wanted to celebrate its 30 years in a big way, which is why it held concerts, game launches and even returned some of its retro titles thanks to the Nintendo Switch Online services.
However, everything comes to an end and, through the official Nintendo of America Twitter account, the company announced that the celebrations for the anniversary of Kirby they finished.

It is worth mentioning that the last 12 months of Kirby they were really special and we got to see deliveries like Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Kirby’s Dream Buffet and Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe. Additionally, the series recently won the 2023 BAFTA Award for Best Family Game.
Of course you have to move on, but even so, the community will hardly be able to leave behind a franchise as important as that of Kirby.
