Nintendo confirms the arrival of Metroid Prime 4 Beyond in 2025

June 18 (Portaltic/EP) –

Nintendo has announced the video games that will come to its Switch console in the second half of the year, which include The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, the ‘remake’ of Dragon Quest III and Super Mario Party Jamboree, and has shared as a preview some of the releases planned for next year, such as Metroid Prime 4 Beyond and Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero.

The new Nintendo Direct started this Tuesday with the presentation of Mario and Luigi: Brotherly Connection, a new installment of this saga in which the two brothers live an adventure together and can perform actions in tandem. After almost nine years since the previous installment, it will arrive on November 7 on Nintendo Switch.

The Legend of Zelda will also have a new title: Echoes of Wisdom, an adventure starring Princess Zelda, arriving on September 26. A special edition gold Nintendo Switch Lite, decorated with the Hyrule emblem, will also go on sale on the same day.

In Echoes of Wisdom, Hyrule has become filled with strange dark rifts that make people, and Link, disappear. For this reason, Zelda embarks on a journey with the fairy Tri and a scepter that allows her to make replicas of objects.

Object Replication is the new game mode introduced with this title. Instead of fighting with a sword, Zelda can copy objects she finds in her adventure to replicate them later in order to avoid obstacles and solve puzzles. She can also replicate monsters, and use her unique abilities.

Nintendo has also shared the first images of Metroid Prime 4 Beyond, Samus Aran’s new adventure that is scheduled to arrive in 2025.

Super Mario Party Jamboree will be “the biggest Mario Party to date.” Mario and his friends travel to a huge island facility, where there are five new boards, along with the two before the series, and more than 110 mini-games ranging from action to ingenuity and motion control. It will arrive on October 17.

The ‘remake’ of Dragon Quest III recovers this role-playing game in HD-2D quality, which will arrive on November 14 on Switch. With it, players will experience the chronological beginning of the Erdrick trilogy, and will be able to play it in its entirety with the ‘remake’ announcements of Dragon Quest I and II, which are expected in 2025.

With Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition (July 18), players will access the excitement of the Nintendo World Championship from home. It includes more than 150 speedrun challenges from 13 NES games, which can be played competing against other players online or locally, or alone.

Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD (June 27). LEGO Horizon Adventures (Winter 2024), Just Dance 2025 Edition (October 2024), Stray (Winter 2024), Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings Game (Winter 2024), Funko Fusion (September 13), Darkest Dungeon II (July 15), Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports (Fall 2024), Metal Slug Attack Reloaded (available now), MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics (2024), Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven (October 24), Fantasian Neo Dimension (Winter 2024), Fairy Tal 2 (Winter 2024), Ace Attorney Investigations Collection (September 6), Farmagia ( November 1) and The New Denpa Men (July 22), complete the titles of the second half of this year.

THEY WILL ARRIVE IN 2025

Nintendo Direct has also shared some titles that will arrive next year, such as Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero, Hello Kitty Island Adventure, MIO: Memories in Orbit, The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy-,

Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong will also return next year with Donkey Kong Country Returns HD (January 16), a high-definition version of the game that originally came out for Wii. Players will be able to play alone or join forces with another person in two-player local cooperative mode, in 80 levels.
