NieR creator will release his third game in 1 year

The card video game genre is not usually very popular; however, Square Enix decided to give Yoko Taro, the main person responsible for the creation of nier, and authorized the development of an IP that tells its story through letters. Well, the project seems to have paid off, as the third installment will be released very soon in less than 1 year.

Just in October of last year we informed you of the announcement of Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars, developed by the Alim studio and published by Square Enix. A new iteration of this series was revealed in February, Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maidenand a new game in the series will debut on September 13.

Voice of Cards keeps expanding

You read it right, the card franchise will get bigger with its new installment, Voice of Cards: The Beasts of Burdenwhich will appear before the original game turns 1 year on the market.

Voice of Cards: The Beasts of Burden will tell a stand-alone story, so you don’t need to have played Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars either Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden to understand the plot of the new installment.

One of the novelties of this new iteration is the possibility of capturing monsters that the player defeats to use them later as skills in combat.

“Follow the new story set in a world where millennia of hatred rages between monsters and humans, and a young woman who loses her home swears revenge on the monsters. She teams up with a mysterious boy and they embark into the unknown and unravel the fate of this broken world,” reads the description of the game, which will only be released digitally.

Voice of Cards: The Beasts of Burden will have a deluxe edition

Best of all for fans of the creator of this series, drakengard Y nier is that there will be one Digital Deluxe Editionwhich will offer several DLC-themed items nier re[in]carnationprecisely costumes for the protagonists of the adventure, Mama’s avatar, the Story Collector’s Dice, the Handbook Pattern, a board and accessories with Cage designs, a mode that replaces the character illustrations with pixels, Melody of reincarnation soundtrack and more.

Players who preorder or purchase Voice of Cards: The Beasts of Burden you will also get the DLC Iron Avatar Y Hat Girl’s Abstract Pattern.

Something interesting is that the Game Master (voice or narrator) of the Japanese version of this new installment will be Yui Ishikawa, actress who gives voice to 2B in NieR: Automataso in some way it can be said that the players will be accompanied by the beloved android.
