New TeamGroup MP44Q SSDs with up to 7,400 MB/s and QLC memories



TeamGroup has announced its new NVMe M.2 PCI Express 4.0 SSD with QLC NAND Flash memories along with a small SLC cache to accelerate data access (SLC memories have higher performance and cost than QLC).

Named TeamGroup MP44Q SSD, these SSDs reach sequence read speeds of up to 7,400 MB/s and are left with a more than decent 6,500 MB/s for writing of the same type.

Its capacity ranges from 1 TB for the smallest model to 4 TB for the largest. In the middle we have a model with 2 TB of storage. They include a small sheet of graphene to help its dissipation, but it does not seem that it will have temperature problems as it does not require larger heatsinks.

Therefore, it can be used on both desktops and laptops.

Includes software to monitor the health and performance status of the SSD, the software is patented and is based on SMART data from the device. It also includes memory cell waste leveling technologies and a 5-year warranty.

At the moment there are no details about its price.
