New MultiVersus trailer shows Jason Voorhees in action [VIDEO]

Warner Bros. Games released a new trailer for MultiVersus revealing the first look at the gameplay of horror film icon Jason Voorhees from the franchise Friday the 13thwho will join the roster as a playable character when the free-to-play platform fighting game launches on May 28.

In the trailer, Jason He stands out from the competition as a tank-class character with a set of terrifying movements where he incorporates his weapons – ax and machete -, the ability to teleport to appear right behind opponents and put them in a sleeping bag, fatally fold a bed in half to launch enemies off the map, and more.

Details aside, the video also shows a glimpse of “Uber Jason”, the character variant based on his appearance from the film Jason X.

Developed by Player First Games, MultiVersus will be available on May 28 as a free download for consoles PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), with full support for cross-play and cross-progression.
