Memory and storage manufacturer Goodram, part of Wiklk Elektronik, has announced its new line of external SSDs Goodram HX200. These are portable storage units available in two different colors: black or pink, and are characterized by their compact size and speeds of up to 1,600 MB/s sequential reading.
The Goodram HX200 They are available in 500GB, 1TB or 2TB capacities, and use 3D NAND Flash memory with which they reach the aforementioned 1,600MB/s sequential read speeds along with 1,500MB/s of the same type of write speed. To do this, they have a USB-C port compatible with the real USB 3.2 specification, that is, USB 3.2 gen 2×2 with its 20 Gbps bandwidth.
The external design, available in the colours we mentioned, is made of aluminium, a lightweight material that also adds extra resistance to knocks and falls to keep data protected. They can operate in a range of 0 to 70 °C, although data storage is safe between -40 °C and +85 °C.
They are very compact in size and weigh only 67 grams with dimensions of 65 x 43 x 11 mm. They will be sold with a 3-year warranty and free technical support.
