Enermax has announced its new line of REVOLUTION ATX 3.0 power supplies with powers of 1,000 W and 1,200 W. By complying with the new ATX 3.0 standard, they have the 16-pin 12VHPWR connector used by the latest high-end graphics from NVIDIA’s RTX 40 series. In fact, instead of a single connector, the Enermax REVOLUTION ATX 3.0 comes with two of these 16-pin connectors.
However, the double connector has its “trick”, and that is that only the main one offers the maximum power of 600W, while the second 12VHPWR connector connects to two 8-pin PCIe outputs, so its maximum power will be limited to 300W. In any case, by combining both connectors, we can get up to 900W of power to feed high-performance graphics cards.
For the rest, we have a 135 mm fan to cool its circuits and that has a hybrid mode (activated with a button) that turns off when the source is less than 30% charged for silent operation. Also included are 24-pin ATX connectors, two 8-pin EPS each, four 6+2-pin PCIe connectors, 12 SATA connectors, and other connectors for all types of components.
Both the 1,000 W Enermax Revolution ATX 3.0 and the 1,200 W model have a 100% modular design with 80 PLUS GOLD efficiency and a 1 rail design for 12 v. At the moment we do not know their prices.
