Little by little, it seems that MSI is improving the performance of its first portable console, the MSI Claw. We already saw the arrival of a new BIOS at the end of April that promised performance improvements of up to 50% in some games, and now the company has announced a new bios update and the MSI Center M software 1.0.2405.1401 with which it promises performance improvements of up to 30% on games like Forza Horizon 5, and 20% on titles like Helldivers 2 and Fortnite.
Specifically, the new BIOS is called E1T41IMS.109 and it is now available for download on the MSI Claw support website. In addition, starting with this BIOS, MSI now allows you to update future versions of the firmware from the MSI Center M itself.
Let us remember that the MSI Claw is a portable console that, instead of using the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme SoC that we can see in the ASUS ROG Ally or in the Lenovo proposal, has opted for an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H laptop processor ” Meteor Lake”, equipped with an integrated Intel Arc graphics that, at least in theory, has greater power. However, the first tests carried out with the first drivers and BIOS showed lower performance than expected, but it seems that MSI continues to work on it and is gradually improving its performance.
