Continuing with its strategy of providing OLED screens to its laptops of all types of ranges, ASUS has announced the launch of its new laptops ASUS Vivobook Go 15 OLED. Although they are available in lower variants with TN and IPS panels, the OLED model has a 15.6-inch panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (FullHD) in 16:9 format with 400 nits of maximum peak brightness and 60 Hz refresh rate.
This screen also promises a color coverage of 100% of the DCI-P3 gamut, much higher than the 45% of NTSC offered by the variants with IPS and TN panels with 250 nits of brightness.
As for its internal hardware, we have AMD 7020 series processors based on Zen 2, from the AMD Athlon Gold 7220U, up to the AMD Ryzen 5 7520U or AMD Ryzen 3 7320U low comsumption. All of them offer integrated AMD Radeon 610M graphics and are accompanied by 4, 8 or 16 GB of 5,500 MHz LPDDR5 memory. For internal storage we have options of M.2 NVMe 1.3 (PCIe 3.0) SSD of 120 GB, 256 GB and up 512GB.
Depending on the model we will have WiFi 5 or WiFi 6E connectivity, as well as a 720p camera, USB 2.0 and 3.0 type A, USB 3.0 type C, HDMI 1.4 output, audio minijack and even a fingerprint reader.
Its battery is 42 Wh for the models with the TN and IPS screen, and 50 Wh for the OLED. It is charged using a compact charger of only 45W, and all this for a team with dimensions of 36 x 23.25 x 1.79 cm and a weight of 1.63 kg, so we are talking about light and thin laptops.
Besides of Vivobook Go 15 OLEDASUS has also introduced its Vivobook Go 14equipped in this case with a 14-inch IPS or TN panel, depending on the model, and equipped with the same internal hardware as the 15-inch model.
In this case, the Vivobook Go 14 weighs only 1.3 kg and measures 32.45 x 21.39 x 1.79 cm together with a 42 Wh battery. All of them arrive with Windows 11 Pro.
