Although we have seen them in thin laptops with high autonomy, the good energy efficiency of the Intel Lunar Lake processors, that is, the Intel Core Ultra 200V, makes “NUC” mini PCs also make a lot of sense in the mini PC market.
ASUS inherited the NUC miniPC family directly from Intel, and has now announced the arrival the new ones ASUS NUC 14 Pro AI equipped with these Intel Core Ultra 200V, with models ranging from the Core Ultra 5 226V and its 16 GB of RAM to the most powerful Core Ultra 9 288V with 32 GB of RAM integrated into the SoC.
They are accompanied by an M.2 PCI Express port with support for SSDs ranging from 256 GB to 2 TB capacity, WiFi 7 + Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity and an RJ45 with 2.5 GbE.
The rest of the connectivity is covered by two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB 3.0 type A, another two USB-A 3.1 10 Gbps, HDMI and even a Copilot button to take advantage of AI functions. Do not forget that the Core Ultra 200V processors have an NPU that meets Microsoft requirements for Copilot+ PCs.
All this comes in a NUC with measurements of only 130 x 130 x 34 mm and a weight of 530 grams in these ASUS NUC 14 Pro AI.
