Netflix to bring back Rurouni Kenshin in a new anime series

The remake will come next year

One of the anime that is considered a cult is undoubtedly Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X), which is based on the manga by Nobuhiro Watsuki. Several years have passed since its premiere and now it has just been confirmed that a remake will arrive in 2023.

As you surely know, the anime of Rurouni Kenshin aired in the late ’90s, when fans met a curious warrior who vowed never to kill again.

The remake will come next year

Now, a new Netflix project will allow us to meet Kenshin Himura again in a remake of the classic and popular anime that looks quite promising.

The good news is that those responsible for said remake also shared the first trailer for the series, which shows its great animation and will make all fans raise their hype to the clouds.

As you could see, the anime looks impressive and will retell us the story of Kenshin Himura, a wandering swordsman who was once a ruthless assassin nicknamed Battôsai, who has now made a promise not to kill anyone else due to certain events of his past.

It is worth mentioning that there is still no exact date for the premiere of the anime, so all fans should be attentive to find out when next year they will be able to meet Kenshin, Kaoru, Sanosuke and company.
