MADRID Dec. 28 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will undergo surgery this Sunday to remove his prostate, as reported on Saturday by the president’s own office.
Netanyahu underwent an examination at the Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem in which doctors discovered a urinary tract infection resulting from a benign enlargement of the prostate, reports the newspaper ‘The Times of Israel’.
Since then, Netanyahu has been treated with antibiotics that have allowed him to overcome the infection, explains the official statement from the prime minister’s office.
The note highlights that the meeting of the Security Cabinet of the Israeli Government scheduled for this Sunday is being held.
