MADRID 20 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, has had a telephone conversation with the Republican candidate for the White House and former US president, Donald Trump, to tell him that his country will act “following its own interests” regarding its operations in Gaza and Lebanon, and in general terms in the current situation in the region.
Netanyahu has thus repeated an idea that he already stated this week after information appeared about possible Israeli targets in a future attack on Iran.
Specifically, the ‘Wall Street Journal’ reported that the US had received guarantees from Israel that it would not attack Iranian nuclear facilities and would focus only on military objectives.
As he did before, the prime minister has indicated to the magnate that, although he appreciates the “advice” provided by the United States, his Army will act as it sees fit.
