Israeli Defense Minister says Tehran has enriched amounts of uranium to make up to five nuclear bombs

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Thursday in a meeting with a delegation of US congressmen that “Iran is like 50 North Koreas” and that, if it gets nuclear weapons, it could threaten “every city” in the United States.
“Theirs is an ideological vision that sees Israel as a little Satan and you (the United States) as the ‘Great Satan,’ and that Iran could threaten every city in the United States with its nuclear blackmail could produce a change in history”, he has sentenced, according to the newspaper ‘The Times of Israel’.
Likewise, he stressed to the US congressional delegation, led by the member of the Permanent Intelligence Committee of the House of Representatives, Michael Turner, that Tehran “is not a bullying neighbor like the dynasty it leads in North Korea.”
In fact, this same Thursday, Israel’s Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, has assured that Tehran has enriched uranium to manufacture up to five nuclear weapons. “It has come to enrich uranium to 20 and 60 percent for five bombs,” he has detailed, according to the newspaper ‘The Jerusalem Post’.
Iran pledged in 2015 to limit its nuclear program in exchange for a review of Western sanctions. However, after the United States unilaterally withdrew from the pact in 2018, Tehran has enriched its uranium to just below agreed levels.
