Nadella (Microsoft) supports Xbox's cross-platform strategy: "where, when and how they want"

Dec. 18 (Portaltic/EP) –

Microsoft Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella has endorsed the Xbox cross-platform strategy which, through its cloud service, allows players to access their favorite titles “where, when and how they want.”

‘This is an Xbox’ is the slogan that the video game company has chosen for its new campaign, launched in November, with which it invites players to “play with Xbox on multiple devices and screens.”

“Whether you have an Xbox console, play on PC, with Samsung smart TVs, wearable devices, mobile phones, Amazon Fire TV or a Meta Quest headset with Game Pass Ultimate, you can play with Xbox,” express Senior Director of Marketing, Craig McNary.

This idea has now been defended by Nadella in the annual report which he sends to the shareholders. “With Xbox cloud gaming, we continue to innovate to offer gamers more ways to experience the games they love, where, when and how they want,” has said.

He also explained that they have seen “new devices from third-party manufacturers along with key terminals for PC and mobile devices that help us empower players to play in the way that is most convenient for them.”

In this way, the manager concludes, “Xbox allows people to connect and share online gaming experiences that can be accessed Access from Xbox consoles, Windows-enabled devices, and other devices“.
