We had already seen leaked photos of the new MSI MPG Z890 Carbon WiFi boardwhich will be able to carry the new Intel Arrow Lake for desktop computers that are expected to submit next October 10th. Another MSI model has been leaked, but this time counting the features that will have the MEG Z890 Unify-X. The information has appeared on X/Twitter offering details of what the high-end of this new generation will bring.

The MSI MEG Z890 Unify-X motherboard features PCIe 5.0 x16 card supporthas two slots that can operate at x8 when used simultaneously. Also added one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and one x1. It also has Two DDR5 memory slotsalthough it does not specify that maximum speed can reach or if they are compatible with the new CUDIMM memoriesIt is built with a plate of 8 layers and a design of 20+1+1+1 phases to provide enough power to the most demanding CPUs (and components).

As for storage, they have been added 6 slots for M.2 SSD drivesbeing 2 of them PCIe 5.0 and the rest 4.0. It also has connectivity Thunderbolt 4 with 2 USB-C type connectors on the back, to which are added up to 10 USB-C 3.2 of 10 Gbps, even one at 20Gbps with 60W PD. It also has Intel Killer WiFi 7 and 5Gbps EthernetIt comes with all the new features we’ve seen such as EZ PCIe Release, M.2 clip II, Shield Frozr II, and simplified antenna connectors.




Manufacturers are expected to Introduce these new boards along with the Intel Arrow Lake processors next October 10th.
