The Intel Core Ultra 200 “Arrow Lake-S” for desktops have already been announced and, although they will not hit the market until the end of this month, MSI has already renewed its line of gaming computers to accommodate this new generation of CPUs aimed at improving efficiency and consumption.
Computers like MSI MPG Infinte X3 AI and the MSi MEG Vision They are the ones that will adopt the new processors, including the highest-performance Intel Core ultra 9 285K with its 8 P-Cores and 16 P-Cores for a total of 24 cores and 24 threads (remember that these processors lose HyperThreading).
The MSI MEG Vision X stands out for its huge touch screen located on the front to monitor or control the PC. We are talking about a 13-inch IPS-Level panel that we were already able to see at Computex 2024.
Although Arrow Lake includes NPU, its power is very limited and does not meet the requirements of Copilot+ PC. However, in these computers we will have NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards with models that integrate the RTX 4090, reaching more than 1,300 TOPS of gross power. This allows advanced Artificial Intelligence tasks to be executed locally with maximum performance.
However, the use of the NPU allows you to take advantage of AI at specific times without affecting the performance of the CPU or GPU, for example in games. A practical example is that MSI and Red Pill Lab have developed the DIGIME software to capture the user’s movement and face in real time for content creators and will arrive in December of this year.
