The non-governmental organization Doctors Without Borders (MSF) has announced the suspension of its activities in the city of Djibo, in the north of Burkina Faso due to “recurrent security incidents” in health centers, water distribution points and the NGO premises.

“We need adequate security conditions to allow our teams to continue their mission and provide support to communities affected by insecurity and violence,” said MSF program manager in the African country, Moussa Ousman.
